Why do I have a blog?

I decided to make a blog, not as a way to promote myself, but as a way to promote God. So often we fear what others may think about our faith and we hide it. In Ephesians 6 we are told to put on the full armor of God.

Through this Blog I hope to show what God has revealed to me about living in Godliness. I am nothing without God and will only write what he has shown me, not my own desires.

I strive to grow in Love and Fear of God and through this blog I hope to encourage other to do so as well. I am currently studying religion and theology and hope to become a youth pastor and if God wills a senior pastor. I desire to meet the qualifications outlined in 1 Timothy 3:1-7. I desire to be above reproach and through this Blog I hope to only speak the truth and to fight the good fight for faith. I decided to write this blog because of my desire to be a pastor and the experience of putting thoughts together and expressing them that it would give me. Abraham Piper wrote a blog about why pastors should blog and with my desire to become a pastor I thought there was no better time than now to start.
